Job summary

Zocdoc is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for the Spend Management team in NYC to own the technical strategy of a self-service spend platform and lead architecture for budget controls. You will collaborate with Product, Design, Analytics, and Sales to deliver a reliable money-moving system that provides ROI insights for providers.

You will mentor engineers, drive end-to-end ownership, and leverage GenAI tools to automate workflows and unlock future spend insights and recommendations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in .NET and AWS or equivalent cloud technology.
• Ability to integrate generative AI tools into daily workflows.
• Strong background in building scalable back-end services with usable front-ends.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy for the self-service spend management platform.
• Architect and implement key roadmap initiatives like budget controls and spend strategy.
• Foster relationships with Product, Design, and Analytics to refine the product vision.
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of money-moving systems and spend tracking.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and 1:1 pairing.
• Work with cutting-edge GenAI tools toward future goals like spend insights.
