Job summary

MOREgroup in Reno, NV is seeking an experienced Architect/Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary project teams, ensure design excellence, and oversee delivery from concept through completion.

This role requires a licensed architect with a track record of managing complex projects, mentoring junior staff, and driving high standards in both design and execution. The position embraces a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture required; licensure preferred.
• 10+ years of professional experience with at least 5 years in project/team management (budgets, staffing, schedules).
• Proven track record managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication; client and stakeholder management.
• Ability to lead through influence in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams from development to execution.
• Ensure on-schedule, on-budget delivery with high design and technical standards.
• Review and approve design work, drawings, and specs for quality and code compliance.
• Develop and maintain construction documentation and specifications.
• Mentor team members including architects, designers, and technical staff.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders; manage expectations.
• Oversee project scope, contracts, budgets, and change orders with firm leadership.
• Stay current with building codes, industry trends, materials, and sustainability standards.
