InPost Technology is seeking a Principal Engineer to shape the long-term technology direction for the Consumer & Merchant Experience. This senior individual contributor will define architectural standards, tackle cross‑team, multi‑domain challenges, and influence decisions without formal authority.

You will collaborate with Senior Engineering Directors, Engineering Managers, Staff and CTO, operating in a large, international environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing and developing large-scale distributed systems.
• 3+ years shaping technical direction beyond a single team in a senior role.
• Experience making long-term architectural decisions across multiple teams.
• Strong engineering background with hands-on coding not primary focus.
• Experience with customer-facing products and influencing tech/product direction.
• Experience establishing engineering standards and mentoring senior engineers.
• Proficiency with AI tools to enhance productivity and solve complex problems.

Responsabilités

• Define architectural standards across the technology organization.
• Identify and address systemic technical challenges spanning multiple domains.
• Shape engineering principles, practices and technology standards.
• Contribute to the organization’s technology strategy for AI.
• Lead cross-team and cross-domain technical initiatives.
• Mentor Staff Engineers and help develop the next generation of leaders.
• Support technical due diligence related to partnerships and M&A.
• Represent InPost in the engineering community via conferences and publications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align architecture with product needs.
