Job summary

Verdantas is seeking a Senior Technical Manager, Archaeology to lead complex cultural resources projects with strong client relationships and regulatory expertise in environmental consulting. You will manage scope, budget, schedule, staffing, and technical quality, while mentoring staff and collaborating across disciplines.

The role requires an advanced degree in archaeology or related field, at least 7 years of experience, and demonstrated leadership in field investigations and reporting.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in archaeology, anthropology, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of cultural resources management experience with project leadership.
• Experience leading archaeological field investigations and reporting.
• RPA certification strongly preferred; PI-level leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex archaeological and cultural resources projects, managing scope, budget, schedule, staffing, technical quality, and client service.
• Develop client relationships and serve as primary contact.
• Oversee field investigations and provide senior technical direction.
• Prepare and QA/QC technical reports and regulatory documentation.
• Mentor project staff and collaborate across Verdantas disciplines.
