Job summary

Verdantas is seeking a Technical Specialist, PM – Archaeology to manage cultural resources projects from planning through reporting. You will lead field investigations, coordinate field staff, manage scope, schedule and budget, and deliver clear client communications in collaboration with the Senior Technical Manager.

Requires a degree in archaeology or related field, experience in cultural resources/fieldwork, and proficiency in technical reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in archaeology, anthropology, historical archaeology, or related field.
Experience in cultural resources management and archaeological fieldwork.
Experience managing projects, budgets, schedules, field efforts, and staff.

Responsibilities

Manage archaeological and cultural resources projects including scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and deliverables.
Serve as primary client contact and provide clear project communications.
Plan, coordinate, lead, and participate in archaeological field investigations and site documentation.
Prepare and review cultural resources reports, scopes, budgets, and proposals.
Support compliance with NEPA, NHPA, CEQA, ARPA, NAGPRA, and applicable regulations.
