Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts in Stamford, CT, is seeking an Arborist Crew Leader to direct a tree care crew, ensuring safety and efficiency in all tasks. This role is central to mentoring teammates and delivering high-quality arboriculture services on site.

Responsibilities include supervising pruning, cabling, rigging, removals, and equipment operation, while maintaining standards, communicating with clients, and promoting environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR; Class B CDL preferred.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
• Strong leadership and crew supervision skills.
• Self-motivated and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Safely performing and supervising all arboriculture tasks: pruning, cabling, bracing, rigging, removals.
• Operate and maintain equipment (chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts).
• Lead, supervise, and train crews on job sites per Arborist Representative instructions.
• Ensure work meets industry and company standards.
• Communicate with clients and build relationships.
• Demonstrate passion for nature and the outdoors.
