Job summary

The F. A. Bartlett Tree Expert Company in Richmond, VA is seeking an Arborist Crew Leader to head our tree care crew and deliver services safely and efficiently.

You will mentor teammates, ensure adherence to industry standards, and perform pruning, cabling/bracing, rigging, and removals while operating equipment such as hand tools, chainsaws, and aerial lifts. A valid driver's license and CDL preferred; 3+ years of climbing experience required; outdoor work year-round.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift experience.
• Proven leadership and crew supervision abilities.
• Ability to pass background checks and work outdoors year-round.

Responsibilities

• Safely performing and supervising pruning, cabling/bracing, rigging, and removals.
• Lead crews on job sites and ensure equipment is properly maintained.
• Coordinate with the Arborist Representative and Local Manager and communicate with clients.
