Job summary

SPX Technologies, within the Engineered Air Movement group, is seeking a Lead, Applications Engineer to provide technical and people leadership for a team of application engineers supporting the Strobic Air Technologies business. You will drive engineering excellence by ensuring standards, delivering innovative customer solutions, and developing a high-performing team.

Qualifications

3–5 years of progressive HVAC, industrial ventilation, or engineered equipment application engineering experience.
Minimum 3 years leading engineering professionals.
Familiarity with ASHRAE/AHRI standards and lab/field testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of application engineers with performance management and career coaching.
Review and approve designs, equipment selections, and performance calculations to ensure compliance with codes and practices.
Partner with Sales to support strategic opportunities and collaborate across Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations.
