Entegris, Inc. in Decatur, TX is seeking a Lead, Applications Engineer, Silicon Carbide Materials to drive development, validation and introduction of graphite and silicon carbide materials into wide bandgap transistor processing.

You will collaborate with R&D, customer teams and manufacturing to scale up validated materials, assess DOE studies, and manage project timelines while building vendor relationships and ensuring ISO-compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with relevant experience; travel flexibility.
• Experience with DOE methodologies/tools and FEA modeling.
• Proven ability to lead development projects and work cross-functionally.

Responsabilités

• Understand customer needs, failure modes, and requirements.
• Collaborate with internal R&D on materials development and synthesis.
• Characterize material grades in application environments.
• Work with internal FEA team to assess material combinations.
• Manage development schedules and vendor/partner relationships.
• Develop scale-up plans after successful validation.
