Job summary

Nova Measuring Instruments seeks an Application Team Lead to guide a small on-site team of application scientists in developing high-value metrology solutions for the semiconductor industry. You will engage with customers, apply robust methodologies, and drive projects in a fast-paced fab environment.

You will mentor engineers, promote Nova’s XPS/XRF and SIMS offerings, and help develop new features while expanding market reach. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Degrees in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or related field.
• Graduate degree preferred.
• At least 7 years in the semiconductor industry.
• Experience leading projects and teams on technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Be a customer-centric applications and product expert.
• Lead on-site small application science team on projects and customer engagement.
• Promote best known methods for Nova’s XPS/XRF and SIMS solutions.
• Manage, track and drive projects related to material metrology customer engagements.
• Mentor and coach less experienced engineers and train field staff.
• Support development of new application features and assist in market penetration.
• Assist end-users and service engineers in troubleshooting Nova products in the field.
