Job summary

Shape Optics Technologies Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Product Application Manager, Fiber Optics to enhance customer engagement and technical support on a global scale. You will drive pre-sales and post-sales activities, address customer queries, and propose solutions for fiber-optic products and systems.

The role requires a strong background in fiber optics and optical engineering, with 8+ years of hands-on experience in industrial or commercial settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Fiber Optics, Optical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or related fields.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in fiber-optic applications at component or system level in industrial or commercial sectors.
• Strong technical understanding of fiber-optic processes, optical assemblies, and application environments.
• Effective communication skills and strong business acumen; able to liaise confidently with customers and internal teams.
• Experience working with global customers is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to global customers.
• Address customer queries through technical meetings, presentations, and other communication channels related to fiber-optic products.
• Understand customer needs and propose appropriate product or system solutions.
• Work closely with the Business Development team to fulfill customer requirements and drive opportunities.
• Manage customer programs, ensuring alignment in cost, quality, and delivery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information and program status in company systems.
• Participate in local and overseas exhibitions to represent the company’s fiber-optic capabilities.
• Provide expert input on product features, applications, and integration at component and system levels.
• Support internal teams with technical insights on fiber-optic processes, assemblies, and deployments.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
