Job summary

SHR Consulting Group, LLC is seeking an Application Management Subject Matter Expert to direct the team responsible for enterprise and mission applications across the J-9 Hosting and Compute portfolio.

You will own the availability, performance, and security posture of COTS, GOTS, and custom-built applications on Platform Services managed infrastructure and coordinate with leadership on health and modernization.

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise applications in a complex DoD-like environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Red Hat Linux systems.
• Proven ability to manage mission-critical applications and coordinate with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Advise and direct contractor teams to ensure availability and security of J-9 HAC applications.
• Provide technical leadership for deployment and sustainment of COTS, GOTS, and custom apps.
• Lead event management for service impacts and coordinate remediation efforts.
• Oversee application configuration for failover and continuity of operations.
• Ensure changes are tested in non-production before production deployment.
• Interface with government leadership on portfolio health and improvement plans.
