Job summary

GEA Group in the United States is seeking an Application Engineering Supervisor to support the Director of Technical Offer Management (TOM) - PTS. You will coordinate priorities across Sales, Process Engineering, and TOM leadership, while mentoring engineers and guiding technical proposals.

You will lead the preparation of accurate cost estimates, ensure governance compliance, and foster continuous improvement. This role offers a path to growth within a global engineering leader.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or chemical engineering degree is required.
• More than 5 years of experience in Application Engineering, Process/Project Engineering, Project Management, and/or Estimating.
• Background in dairy, food, chemical, pharmaceutical, environmental or beverage projects is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day workload and priorities with the Director of TOM – PTS; assign tasks, establish deadlines, and track progress.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members; serve as escalation point to resolve issues.
• Review customer RFQ documents and prepare accurate cost estimates and written proposals for GEA equipment, services and systems.
• Ensure proposals and deliverables comply with TOM governance, policies and procedures.
• Lead training and development to support a high-performing engineering team.
