Job summary

NBME is seeking an Application Developer to join our Product Engineering team for an 18–24 month project. You’ll lead design and development across the full stack in an agile environment and mentor teammates.

The role is primarily remote with occasional onsite work near Philadelphia. Requirements: 5+ years in software development (2+ with AWS), Java, Angular, and Python; OAuth2 and serverless architectures; IaC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development
• 2+ years with AWS
• Experience with Java and Angular is a plus
• Knowledge of OAuth2 and identity providers
• Infrastructure as Code (CDK/CloudFormation)

Responsibilities

• Lead developer on large initiatives and adopt optimal technologies
• Mentor teammates and share advanced techniques
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to translate specs into designs
• Occasionally act as application architect to define system designs
• Deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
• Research industry trends to inform strategy
• Assist with documentation of unit processes
• Assist with vendor management and performance metrics
