Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 7+ years of software development experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Production-grade Python development with modern frameworks and testing libraries.
• Hands-on experience with AWS CDK for infrastructure-as-code across multi-environment deployments.
• Hands-on CI/CD pipeline creation and management for cloud applications.
• Strong RESTful API design skills including versioning and error handling.
• Proficiency with Git workflows, branching strategies, and merge request reviews.
• Experience with Terraform preferred.
• Familiarity with Angular or React (TypeScript) frontend development a plus.
• Experience using AI coding assistants for code review, documentation generation, debugging, and test case development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based microservices and AWS infrastructure using CDK.

• Build containerized applications with RESTful APIs following modern design standards.
• Implement comprehensive logging, monitoring, and audit trails using CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
• Conduct code reviews focused on maintainability, performance, and best practices.
• Write unit tests and integration tests; perform code remediation as needed.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines for cloud application deployments.
