Job summary

Horizon Industries is seeking a Lead Appian Associate to support the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) on a remote basis in the United States. The role involves planning, leading, and mentoring Appian development teams on complex projects and coordinating with clients, owners, and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 5 to 8 years in software development with Appian, experience in Agile environments, database and systems integration, and a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years leading Appian software development teams.
• Have previous experience with database and system integration.
• 5 to 8 years working on software development engagements (Appian preferred)
• Possess experience in an Agile environment.

We are currently seeking a Lead Appian Associate for a full-time position remotely, supporting our client, the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)

What your day-to-day will look like / Duties:

What we would like to see on your resume/ Required Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as software engineering, engineering, computer science, etc.

• Able to identify and evaluate new or alternate technologies to gill technical or functional gaps of the applications.
• Possess a higher level of experience in requirement discovery, BPM Best practices, and the design and build of BPM applications, and can lead a team in these activities.
• Can manage the finances of the assigned work area (client-facing or internal).
• Worked in a variety of industries and leverage their diverse experience throughout project planning, execution, and delivery.
• Can assess how the created/updated Appian objects and pull request fit into the bigger picture and spot major logic errors.
• Ability to communicate technical requirements across enterprise applications.
• Certification: Senior Developer (Level 3) Appian Certification
• Mentorship skills
