Job summary

AtlantiCare in Atlantic City seeks a Lead Advanced Practice Nurse FQHC Quality to advance high-quality, cost-effective patient care and support organizational goals.

This role develops preventive measures, diagnoses and treats illnesses, collaborates with physicians, mentors APRN students, and contributes to organization-wide quality improvement initiatives while maintaining current clinical knowledge and professional development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited school or grandfathered by NJ Law.
• Current RN licensure in New Jersey and board certification.
• APRN required upon hire or transfer with AGPCNP-BC certification.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Experience with quality improvement and FQHC operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, cost-effective patient care aligned with specialty practice objectives.
• Establish preventive measures and diagnose/treat illnesses per protocols with collaborating physician.
• Mentor Advanced Practice Nurse students and contribute to education curriculum.
• Collaborate with physician leaders, administration and staff to improve clinical outcomes.
• Participate in organization-wide quality improvement and peer review processes.
