FlightSafety International Inc. is seeking a JSE Lead API Developer who will play a crucial role in integrating simulation software within government training frameworks. This position involves solid expertise in both C++ and Python programming as well as a deep understanding of simulation standards and systems engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; master's preferred.
• 4 to 8 years of experience in simulation software development.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python for simulation software development.
• Experience with distributed simulation protocols (HLA, DIS, or TENA).
• Hands-on experience with software development tools including JIRA and GitLab.

Responsabilités

• Integrate software/simulation components connecting FlightSafety training devices to the JSE.
• Implement message production and consumption logic using the GSI Software Development Kit.
• Support SCARS compliance activities.
• Contribute to the operation of the internal JSE/SCARS integration lab.
• Work closely with architecture teams to implement design patterns.
