Job summary

ST Engineering - San Antonio Aerospace (SAA) is seeking an APG Maintenance Lead to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of APG mechanics. You'll lead a crew of over 20, focusing on maintaining compliance with FAA policies while managing aircraft component maintenance.

The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma or GED, FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification, and a minimum of three years' experience in heavy commercial maintenance and supervisory roles. We offer competitive wages and benefits.

Role Overview

As the APG Maintenance Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our APG mechanics. Your leadership and technical expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the effectiveness and reliability of our customers' aircraft while remaining in compliance with all FAA policies and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for a crew of 20 or more and able to prioritize daily tasks.
  • Remove and replace aircraft components using special tooling and ground support equipment following written instructions and manuals to complete all routine and non‑routine assignments promptly.
  • Provide training for lower skill levels and perform duties of lower levels.
  • Assume all Lead responsibilities in the Lead’s absence.
  • Maintain and store tools in a serviceable condition.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required. FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification required.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in heavy commercial maintenance.
  • Minimum 3 years supervisory experience.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
