Job summary

Living Well Homes seeks an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to service one of our New Mexico properties. The role involves keeping the building in good working order, performing repairs, and coordinating routine preventive maintenance.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of residential property maintenance experience, EPA and HVAC credentials, and strong problem-solving skills. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must hold EPA certification and be able to work on HVAC systems.
• 2+ years of residential property maintenance experience.
• Plumbing knowledge to address leaks or drainage issues.
• Electrical wiring skills to troubleshoot and repair building electrical problems.
• Carpentry abilities for basic repairs around the building.
• Grounds maintenance capabilities for outdoor areas when applicable.
• Strong interpersonal skills for resident and staff interactions.
• High attention to detail to complete work safely and correctly.
• Good physical stamina for a full shift of active work.
• CPO certification and HVAC credentials are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance around the building, including repairs to windows, doors, or walls.
• Repair plumbing to prevent water damage and restore fixtures.
• Repair damaged electrical wiring as needed.
• Maintain HVAC equipment to ensure climate control.
• Apply preventative measures to reduce future problems, including roof sealing where appropriate.
• Address safety hazards to prevent injuries.
• Paint exterior and interior surfaces as needed.
