Job summary

Dominium, a leading affordable housing developer and manager, seeks a Lead Maintenance Technician for Capital Crossing, a 240-unit community in Austin, TX. You will oversee the property's upkeep, supervise on-site staff, and ensure timely work completion to deliver quality living spaces for residents.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, appliance repairs, and preparing units for new residents, with on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years maintenance experience preferred.
• Proficient in carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems and general repair.
• HVAC and EPA experience preferred.
• CPO certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license and insurance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor property for repairs or replacements as needed.
• Complete work requests for common areas and apartments.
• Perform preventative maintenance on the property.
• Assess and repair appliances as needed.
• Assist in preparing vacant units for new residents.
• Supervise site maintenance personnel and other staff.
• Occasional on-call duties with trip stipend if called back after hours.
• Create and maintain a safe work environment.
