Job summary

Atlantic Pacific Companies is hiring an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for a 403-unit market-rate community in Smyrna, Georgia. You will perform routine maintenance in apartments, common areas and amenities, and prepare units for new move-ins.

The role requires HEHVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry knowledge, plus experience with property management software such as Onesite or Yardi. The position is full-time and on-site.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• EPA I or II, Universal or HVAC certification preferred.
• CPO certification is a plus and pool maintenance experience is preferred.
• Supervisory experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs buildings: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, landscaping, painting, cleaning, appliances, pools, utilities, elevators, fencing/gates, and fire systems.
• Complete service requests/work orders within 24 hours as directed by supervisor or property manager.
• Log and track all assigned work orders and tickets.
• Prepare vacant units through turnover process including painting, cleaning, and carpet cleaning.
• Replace worn or damaged parts in machinery and equipment used by maintenance.
• Assist in ordering property supplies.
• Clean interior and exterior building areas, dusting, sweeping, mopping and window washing.
