Qualifications

• Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience: Three (3) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience -and- CER.A.T. or CER.A.T.T. certification; OR Five (5) years of related experience with CER.A.T. or CER.A.T.T. within two years of hire.
• License/Certification: RQI Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support or Basic Life Support by AHA; ASATT Certified Anesthesia Technician within 365 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a resource to staff, managers and physicians related to anesthesia support services.
• Assigns, organizes and coordinates the daily activities of the anesthesia technicians including assisting the Patient Care Manager with staff scheduling.
• Monitors anesthesia technician's job performance and coaches as needed to assure standards are being followed.
• Must fulfill all obligations and essential duties of the anesthesia technician.
• Provides input related to staff performance to assist in writing evaluations.
