Job summary

Stanford Medicine Children's Health seeks an Anesthesia Technician to support the Department of Anesthesia with supplies, equipment and indirect patient care to ensure safe delivery of anesthesia services.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, assisting with record keeping and charges, participation in quality improvement and staff training, and supporting cost containment within the unit. Requires BLS or RQI and High School diploma.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of directly related work experience.
• BLS certification (RLQ Healthcare Provider or AHA) is required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide supplies and equipment for the Department of Anesthesia.
• Assist with record keeping and patient charges.
• Maintain and service anesthesia equipment and supplies.
