Job summary

The position involves managing anesthesia supplies, coordinating staff in the workroom, and supporting turnaround between cases while maintaining HIPAA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Anesthesia Tech program.
• ASATT Cer.A.T. or Cer.A.T.T. certification.
• 5 years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician.
• CPR – American Heart Association.
• Preferred leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates blood gas machines and performs blood gas analysis.
• Ensures proper identification and labeling of patient samples.
• Records results on forms and returns results to the OR promptly.
• Ensures supplies, equipment, and drugs are available for each anesthetic procedure.
• Inventories restocks anesthesia supplies across ORs and facilities.
• Directs the activities of anesthesia techs and aides in the workroom.
