Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of anesthesia tech related experience.
• Graduate from an accredited Anesthesia Tech school or program.
• ASATT certification preferred; CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support to anesthesia personnel during preparation and insertion of specialized invasive monitoring equipment.
• Ensures that all anesthetizing locations are in a state of readiness.
• Mantains cleanliness and organization of the Anesthesia workroom.
• Manages equipment, supplies, and medication per guidelines to maintain safe, cost effective programs.
• Participates in hospital, division, and department activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
