Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System in Sugar Land, TX, is seeking a Lead Anesthesia Technician to support the anesthesiologist in the operating room. This full-time role requires leadership and CVOR experience, with a 6:45am-3:15pm schedule Monday through Friday.

You will prepare anesthesia machines and carts, maintain monitoring equipment, manage supplies, and uphold rigorous infection control while ensuring patient safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Leads anesthesia tech tasks and supports care teams.
• Experience with cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) environments.

Responsibilities

• Assists anesthesiologists as directed and prepares patient care according to age/population.
• Prepares anesthesia machine and cart with required supplies prior to each case; maintains equipment.
• Restocks anesthesia carts and inventories supplies; transports equipment as needed.
• Maintains infection control standards and sterile technique in the OR.
• Supports preceptor and junior staff, contributing to department goals.
