Job summary

The Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt is seeking a Lead Anesthesia Technician (Cer.A.T./Cer.A.T.T.) to coordinate and mentor the anesthesia tech team, ensure equipment maintenance, and support the Anesthesia Tech Manager in quality and staff development.

This on-site role offers a dayshift schedule (FT Days 6a-2:30p) with a clear path to advancement within Vanderbilt Health and relocation benefits for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
2 years relevant experience
Certified Anesthesia Technician or Certified Anesthesia Technologist

Responsibilities

Organizes and coordinates the use of anesthesia personnel of assigned area.
Insures that technical staff are responding in a timely fashion to all requests by the anesthesia care provider.
May have primary responsibility for scheduling anesthesia staff in regards to daily schedule, time off, in-services, and any other educational activity.
Assists educator in the evaluation of proficiency of technical staff by providing constructive feedback.
