Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking an Anesthesia Technician/Technologist to coordinate anesthesia personnel and support the Care Team. The role mentors staff, assists with equipment maintenance and quality control, and helps with orientation for new hires.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of relevant experience, and certification as an Anesthesia Technician/Technologist. The role is full-time days, with opportunities to contribute to education and process

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
• 2 years relevant experience as an Anesthesia Technician or Anesthesia Technologist is required.
• Certified Anesthesia Technician or Certified Anesthesia Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and coordinates the use of anesthesia personnel in the assigned area.
• Ensures staff respond promptly to requests by the anesthesia care provider.
• May schedule anesthesia staff for daily schedules, time off, and trainings.
• Assist educator in evaluating proficiency of staff with constructive feedback.
• Duties may be expanded beyond the listed responsibilities.
