Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior Mobile Engineer to lead consumer-facing mobile apps, driving Kotlin-based development and API integration at scale. You will mentor engineers, set best practices, and guide projects from design to delivery, collaborating with product, support, and leadership.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, architectural decisions, and hands-on implementation while ensuring quality and maintainability across the mobile stack.

Qualifications

• 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent
• 8+ years' experience in Mobile Development
• Experience developing consumer-facing mobile apps at scale
• Strong Kotlin skills and multi-threaded, asynchronous code
• Understanding of consuming GraphQL and REST APIs from mobile apps
• Strong testing practices and familiarity with testing frameworks

Responsibilities

• Deliver complete solutions across all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, delivery, and operations
• Advise management on project-level issues and guide junior engineers
• Make technical decisions with limited supervision and lead engineering efforts
• Provide technical leadership and promote standards across the organization
• Own design, implementation, and operational excellence of software components
• Mentor developers and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Participate in code and design reviews and oversee project delivery
