Speechify is seeking a Team Lead to own core product work and guide a distributed engineering team. The role is hands-on, with coding, code reviews, and feature ownership from conception through release.

You will drive reliability, quality, and delivery while mentoring engineers and aligning with product goals. As a leader in a 100% distributed environment, you’ll coordinate cross-functionally, reduce manual intervention, and push for automated verification.

Qualifications

• Leadership of a technical team delivering software end-to-end.
• Hands-on coding with a strong focus on delivery and quality.
• Ability to review PRs and drive release readiness.

Responsabilités

• Own major features end to end, from design to release.
• Maintain and improve reliability metrics for key features.
• Review pull requests and provide constructive feedback.
• Unblock the team when blockers appear and guide decisions.
• Ensure consistency of shared components across versions.
• Lead changes in team processes and verification practices.
