Job summary

Speechify, a distributed text-to-speech company, is hiring a Team Lead to own core product work for the Android app and beyond. This is a hands-on role: you will write code, review pull requests, and guide features from decision through release.

Responsibilities

• Own major features end to end, from the decision through to release.
• Maintain and improve reliability metrics for key features.
• Review pull requests and give constructive feedback.
• Unblock the team: notice when someone is stuck and intervene.
• Promote the version of a feature when the team should use it.
• Keep shared pieces in working order and well-documented.
• Lead changes in how the team works when it's time.
• Reduce manual steps to shipping a correct release.
• Drive automation and verification earlier in the process.
