Job summary

Speechify is seeking a Team Lead to own core product work across our text-to-speech platforms. This hands-on role involves writing code, reviewing pull requests, and taking ownership of features from design through release.

You will guide a distributed team, maintain reliability metrics, unblock blockers, and push for automated verification to speed up delivery while keeping quality high. This is a fully remote, globally distributed opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Own major features end to end, from design through release.
• Maintain and improve reliability metrics for key features.
• Review pull requests and provide actionable feedback.
• Unblock the team when blockers arise and investigate root causes.
• Consolidate multiple versions into a single, maintainable solution.
• Shift verification left by increasing automated checks.
