Job description

Are you an Early Childhood Educator who is passionate about guiding young children to more independence? We are now hiring a Lead Teacher and Assistant Teachers for our Infant, Toddler, and Children's House (ages 3-6) classroom as we work to grow our Montessori school in the South Naperville, IL area!

We'd love to talk to you if you:

  • A degree in ECE or Child Development or CDA preferred; minimum of 6 college units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
  • At least 1 year of work experience with 0-6 year old children
  • Are interested in free training to become Montessori certified, or currently have a 0-3 or 3-6 diploma
  • Have experience with the appropriate ages in a group setting, such as a preschool, daycare, childcare, nursery, or Reggio Emilia center
  • Help children by giving them the tools to become independent
  • Are open to guiding your colleagues, and be guided by them in turn
  • Are eager to partner with parents on their child's journey
  • Take pride in your work and are friendly with error
  • Get energized and inspired by working with children!
