Job description

Young Dance seeks teaching artists and assistants for the 2024–25 year and beyond for our growing community partnerships and St. Paul studio classes. We seek skilled instructors who foster a developmentally appropriate, safe, supportive, and fun environment.

Our studio classes are typically scheduled on weekday evenings and Saturdays. Young Dance also partners with Twin Cities schools, organizations, and government agencies to bring dance to diverse populations across the metro. Partnerships take place during or after the school day. Schedule and duration vary depending on partners.

We are specifically looking for teachers specializing in musical theater and hip hop, but all genres are welcome. Candidates should have excellent communication and organizational skills to manage different schedules. Teaching artists should also be able to collaborate with partners and the Young Dance Artistic Director to develop the curriculum.
