Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children.
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
  • Use effective classroom management techniques to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Assess the individual needs of each child and provide early intervention when necessary.
  • Foster a love for literacy through storytelling, reading activities, and language development exercises.
  • Incorporate hands-on activities and play-based learning to engage children in their education.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress, address concerns, and provide guidance on supporting their child's development.
  • Utilize tutoring techniques to support children who may need additional assistance in specific subjects, such as math.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with students or children in an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development that aligns with educational standards.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes diversity and cultural understanding.
