Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.
• 5 years of experience in anatomic pathology or surgical pathology operations.
• 3 years or more of supervisory or management experience in a clinical lab.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the daily operations of the department, ensuring excellence across technical and non-technical functions while maintaining productivity, quality, safety, and service standards.
• Provide strategic leadership to a team of supervisors and laboratory professionals, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and emerging leaders to support future growth.
• Manage staffing models, scheduling, and labor utilization to ensure coverage and operational efficiency.
• Leverage laboratory technologies, data analytics, and AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and decision-making.
• Ensure the diagnostic laboratory delivers market-leading service levels by meeting client expectations and turnaround time metrics.
