Harris Health is seeking an Anatomic Pathology Supervisor to lead laboratory operations at Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital in Houston, TX. You will supervise Histology, Cytology, Transcription, Morgue, and Frozen Section, ensuring high-quality pathology services while mentoring staff.

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and ASCP certification, with a minimum of five years in histology/cytology and two years in supervision. Excellent communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Medical Technology, Histotechnology, Biology, Chemistry) is required.
• ASCP certification (HTL/HT/CT) required.
• Minimum 5 years of histology/cytology experience and 2+ years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of Histology, Cytology, Transcription, Morgue, and Frozen Section areas.
• Oversee personnel management, scheduling, performance, and quality assurance.
• Perform bench duties as needed and mentor staff to support process improvement and timely pathology services.
