Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a senior scientist to lead and mentor the CMC Analytical Development team, overseeing method development, testing, and characterization for biotherapeutics crossing the blood-brain barrier.

You will drive analytical strategy across oligonucleotide and small-molecule programs, validate methods, and coordinate CROs/CDMOs and regulatory submissions, ensuring rigorous GxP compliance and robust data packages.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related discipline with 7+ years (Ph.D.) or 10+ years (M.S.) or 12+ years (B.S.) of industry experience.
• 5+ years hands-on analytical development supporting oligonucleotide and/or small-molecule drug substances/products.
• Expertise in chromatographic techniques and mass spectrometry.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Analytical Development team for oligonucleotide and small-molecule programs.
• Develop and validate analytical methods; establish laboratory capabilities.
• Coordinate with CROs/CDMOs and regulatory submissions; supervise external work.
