Job summary

Nuveen, a TIAA company, seeks an experienced Lead Analyst, Operations Associate to support strategic initiatives across Global Investment Operations. You will collaborate with Trading, Technology and Operations to gather requirements, test, and implement automation projects, while contributing to risk-aware process improvements and scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, data validation, and driving transformation tasks across equities, fixed income, FX, and OTC derivatives

Qualifications

• 3+ years in asset management, investment/trading operations
• 2+ years supporting FX and/or OTC derivatives
• Experience managing multiple project workstreams and testing
• Experience with enterprise transformation projects including business analysis and testing

Responsibilities

• Support senior team members in executing multiple projects and strategic initiatives with focus on business analysis, testing, and implementation tasks
• Collaborate with Trading, Technology, and Operations to gather requirements, develop test cases, perform UAT, and track defects
• Assist in transformation tasks deploying automation and AI technologies, including data validation, mapping, and testing support
• Support risk management by identifying operational risks during testing and implementation and help develop SOPs and remediation plans
• Identify opportunities for efficiency and process improvements within Core Public Operations and present recommendations to seniors
• Serve as a resource on equity, fixed income, FX, and derivatives operations for day-to-day tasks
• Assist with triaging and documenting operational issues and production support escalations
• Support development of new capabilities through design, testing, and implementation of scalable solutions
• Assist with due diligence for new markets/instruments including research, documentation, and coordination of testing
