Job summary

Nuveen, a global investment manager, seeks an experienced Lead Analyst, Operations Associate to join the Global Investment Operations team in Chicago. You will support strategic initiatives, assist in automation and AI-enabled workflow enhancements, and contribute as a hands-on specialist with knowledge of equities, fixed income, FX, and OTC derivatives operations.

Reporting to the Vice President, Investment Operations, you will help plan and test new capabilities, manage risk during testing,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in asset management, specifically in investment/trading operations.
• 2+ years of experience supporting FX and/or OTC derivatives.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple project workstreams and testing efforts simultaneously.
• Experience contributing to enterprise transformational projects, including business analysis and testing.

Responsibilities

• Support senior team members in executing a portfolio of projects and strategic initiatives with a focus on business analysis, testing, and implementation tasks.
• Collaborate with Trading, Technology, and Operations to gather requirements, develop test cases, perform UAT, and track defects for strategic initiatives.
• Assist in executing transformation tasks focused on deploying automation and AI-enabled workflows, including data validation, process mapping, and testing support.
• Support risk management by identifying operational risks during testing and implementation, and help develop SOPs and remediation plans.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency and process improvement within Core Public Operations and elevate recommendations to senior team members for evaluation and implementation.
