Battelle in Columbus, Ohio seeks an experienced Analog and Mixed-Signal ASIC Design Engineer to join its Advanced Microsystem Solutions group. You will design and validate custom ICs for cybersecurity and embedded systems, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to move architectures to silicon.

You will perform circuit-level design of ADCs, DACs, PLLs, and amplifiers, conduct extensive simulations, and work with foundries from layout through fabrication to ensure robust performance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; 3 years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 1 year, or PhD.
• Experience designing analog or mixed-signal ICs that have reached fabrication and silicon validation.
• Strong understanding of CMOS device physics and analog circuit fundamentals.
• Experience with schematic capture, analog simulation, and DRC/LVS verification.
• Familiarity with semiconductor foundries and PDks.
• Understanding of mixed-signal integration challenges.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop analog and mixed-signal ICs for security and embedded computing.
• Perform architecture trade studies and circuit-level design of ADCs, DACs, PLLs, amplifiers.
• Develop transistor-level schematics and run circuit simulations with industry-standard EDA tools.
• Lead development from architecture through silicon bring-up and verification.
• Interface with foundries during design and fabrication.
• Lead technical efforts and mentor junior engineers.
