Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking an experienced Principal Analog Design Engineer to own the architecture and design of high-performance analog/mixed-signal IP used across SoCs. You will drive signal chain IPs or power management IPs, lead transistor-level design, and coordinate with digital, layout, and product teams.

The role requires 16+ years in analog mixed-signal design, strong CMOS fundamentals, and hands-on silicon bring-up experience across advanced nodes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical or computer engineering.
• Minimum 16+ years of analog mixed-signal design experience.
• Proven concept-to-silicon delivery for complex IP blocks.
• Strong CMOS analog fundamentals, noise, stability, and variation knowledge.
• Experience with EDA tools Cadence, Synopsys, Ansys; scripting in Perl/Python.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and design of high-performance analog/mixed-signal IP.
• Lead schematic design, simulation, and verification across PVT corners.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices.
• Collaborate with digital, layout, and product teams for robust implementations.
• Drive silicon bring-up, characterization, and next-generation IP reuse.
