Job summary

LAZ Parking in Downtown Cleveland is seeking a Lead Ambassador to greet customers, guide traffic, and maintain the garage and lots with a friendly, can-do attitude. This full-time role requires excellent service and the ability to work 3:30pm–12am.

You will deliver daily upkeep, assist patrons, and support the Facility Manager while upholding safety and cleanliness standards in a busy urban parking environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong customer service experience is required.
• Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers courteously and assist them; direct to Facility Manager if needed.
• Direct traffic to keep flow of cars organized and safe.
• Work with or without supervision; maintain garage and surface lots daily.
• Perform general maintenance: sweeping, wiping surfaces, trash removal, lighting, and minor repairs.
• Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of garages and surface lots.

Position: Lead Ambassador

Location: Downtown Cleveland - Parking Garage/Lot

Hourly Rate: $17-$19/hour

Schedule: Full time, 5 days/week 3:30pm-12am

The Spirit Of The Position

The Lead Ambassador provides a high level of customer service to all garage parkers with a warm welcome, smiling face, while maintaining the garage and it's upkeep.

What Will I Do?

• Greet all customers courteously and assist them by answering any questions they may have. If necessary, direct the customer to the Facility Manager for further assistance.
• Help direct traffic to keep the flow of cars clean and organized, all with a smile on your face!
• Provide a self-reliant attitude when needed. Must be able to work with or without supervision.
• Ensure garages and surface lots are maintained and cleaned on a daily basis.
• Responsible for general maintenance of the garage and surface lots - sweeping, wiping down surfaces and equipment, emptying trash, picking up trash, changing light bulbs, painting etc.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service experience.

Physical Demands

• Willingness to work in the elements -- heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
