Job summary

Capitol Aluminum & Glass Corp. in Ohio is seeking a dedicated, self-motivated supervisor to join our door fabrication department. This is a first-shift role (7:00AM–3:30PM), with potential mandatory overtime up to 10-hour days.

You will oversee workflows for measuring, cutting, machining, and assembly of aluminum extrusions for commercial doors. Lead a team of 2–5 employees, interpret drawings, coordinate tasks, and ensure timely production of quality products while upholding safety rules and

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a team of 2–5 employees.
• Ability to interpret drawings and layout information on materials.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
• Experience in construction, job shop, or metal fabrication preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee departmental workflows for measuring, cutting, machining, and assembly of aluminum extrusions.
• Interpret drawings and set up material layouts.
• Plan and coordinate work to meet schedule.
• Arrange equipment, tooling, and supplies for assignments.
• Identify and resolve production problems and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure safety rules and regular attendance.
