Job summary

Daher is seeking an experienced Aircraft Systems Engineer for the Sandpoint, Idaho site to lead the integration of multi-mission systems on Kodiak aircraft. You will work on ground and flight operations, coordinating with engineering, certification, program management, and DERs to deliver integrated mission systems.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or related), at least five years of systems integration experience, and familiarity with FAA certification processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft systems integration or avionics design.
• Knowledge of FAA certification processes and Part 23.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical focal for aircraft integration programs with engineering, certification, program management, and DERs.
• Develop and manage system requirements, interfaces, and integration constraints for mission equipment installations.
• Lead certification activities including planning, testing, analysis, safety assessments, and approval documentation for STCs.
• Oversee ground and flight-testing activities and support DER/FAA involvement.
• Coordinate with suppliers and OEMs to ensure compatibility and proper integration.
