Job summary

ST Engineering Aerospace in Pensacola, FL, seeks a Structures Crew Chief to lead a team through complex maintenance tasks on commercial aircraft, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. You will train and support your crew, coordinate daily work, and be the key link between planning and execution in a fast-paced MRO environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, an Airframe license or Repairman Certificate, and at least 4 years of heavy commercial aircraft maintenance experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Airframe license and/or Repairman Certificate (must understand, read, and write English IAW CFR 14, Part 145).
• Minimum 4 years of heavy commercial aircraft maintenance experience in the Structures field.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Structures crew, ensuring maintenance tasks are performed safely and to standards.
• Provide on‑the‑job training and technical assistance to crew members.
• Evaluate crew performance and coordinate with supervisor for improvements.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and properly stored.
• Maintain open communication with Planning, Materials, and fabrication teams regarding aircraft issues.
• Complete crew timecards and report progress; escalate schedule deviations.
