West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking a Lead Aircraft Paint Technician for the 2nd shift in Chattanooga, TN. You will lead the paint team, oversee work orders, logbook entries, and ensure quality and safety standards while complying with FAA guidelines.

Advanced knowledge of aircraft paint processes and strong leadership are essential. You'll manage scheduling with other departments, coordinate materials, train team members, inspect completed work, and maintain a clean paint shop.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 8+ years painting aircraft or similar surfaces (aircraft, autobody, RV, marine).
• Experience leading small work groups and coordinating production tasks.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, logbooks, and safety procedures.

Mansioni

• Lead production crew to meet scheduling demands.
• Coordinate schedule with other departments.
• Train team members to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Schedule with parts department to ensure materials are available.
• Assist in final inspection of aircraft paint work.
