West Star Aviation in Perryville, MO is seeking a Lead Aircraft Paint Technician to supervise paint teams, manage work orders, and log book entries in a fast-paced shop. You will direct project flow and oversee daily painting operations on aircraft, with emphasis on quality and safety standards.

The role requires 8+ years of painting experience in aircraft or related fields, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment.

Formación

• 8+ years’ experience in painting of aircraft, autobody, RV or Marine preferred.
• This position needs exclusive knowledge in all area’s of the job.
• This position will need minimal supervision and will be responsible for leading small work groups on daily tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Day to day management of production crew to ensure scheduling demands are met.
• Coordinate schedule with other departments.
• Training of individual team members to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Scheduling with parts department to ensure necessary materials required to complete the jobs are available.
• Assist in final inspection of aircraft.
• Maintain the premises of the paint shop and work facilities in a clean and orderly manner.
• Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English
