Job summary

ACET in Fort Worth seeks an experienced Aircraft Mechanic II – Ordnance CDI Team Lead to support O-Level maintenance for F/A-18 aircraft. You will lead the ordnance team on shift and serve as CDI, inspecting, troubleshooting, and testing armament subsystems in compliance with NAVAIR and safety standards.

The role requires five years of aircraft maintenance with F/A-18 ordnance experience, CDI qualification, and DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• CDI qualification required or current/previous with ability to recertify immediately.
• Experience with F/A-18 ordnance and weapon-release operations.
• Strong knowledge of NAMP and Naval publications.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance is required to access flight line.
• Familiarity with explosive safety regulations and handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform, supervise, and test aircraft armament and weapon-release systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic malfunctions in ordnance subsystems.
• Lead ordnance maintenance teams and train junior members.
• Coordinate with Production Control and QA on weapon system serviceability.
